The analysis includes detailed costing of commonly used shuttering materials:

  • Wall form panels (1250 × 500 mm)

  • Corner angles

  • Channel shoulders

  • Double clips (bridge clips)

  • MS tubes (40 mm diameter)

  • Assembly nuts and bolts

Practical Assumptions Used

  • Shuttering material assumed usable for 40 repetitions

  • 10% maintenance cost included

  • Salvage value taken @ 25% after full usage

These assumptions reflect real site practices, ensuring accurate and realistic costing.


Labour Cost Included

Labour rates are taken as per DAR 2023, including:

  • Fitter (Grade–1)

  • Beldar

Labour productivity has been considered practically for site execution.


Carriage, Equipment & Miscellaneous

  • Material carriage included

  • Shuttering oil included

  • Sundries considered

  • Water charges @ 1% added as per standard practice


Contractor’s Profit & Overheads

  • 15% contractor’s profit and overheads added

  • Transparent step-by-step calculation


Final Cost Summary

  • Total cost for 10.8 SQM: ₹3,177 (Say)

  • Rate per 1 SQM of shuttering: ₹317.70
